Freestyle is an set time for members of the Wenatchee Figure Skating Club to practice and have private lessons. Skaters will practice jumps, spins, Moves in the Field, competition and show choreography.

Example Freestyle Schedule (Varies based on skater's ability. TALK TO YOUR COACHES) :
Off-ice Warmup: Spend 5+ minutes before getting skates on doing some light stretching, jumping jacks, running, burpees or other exercises to start getting your muscles warmed up.
On-Ice Warmup (8 min or less):
- Stroke around the rink (Forward and Backwards) "Push, Cross & Hold"
- Fast Slalom and Swizzles around the rink (half Forward / half Backward)
- Dips w/ scoop arms
- Push-Cross-Extend backwards
- Power Pulls (Forward, Backwards, & both legs)
- Bunny Hop-Lunges both feet, shoot the duck spiral on both feet for control
- Chasse swing roll (Forward & Backward) with arms
- Cross rolls (Forward & Backward) Strong upper body
- Power 3 turns (Left and Right), add beautiful arms
- Mohawk cross/pattern
- 3 turn Tap toe

Edges and Footwork:
- Forward and Backward edges on the line (inside and outside)
- Practice Mohowks and outside and inside 3-turns with speed and confidence
- Forward and backward spirals w/ both legs - moving around the circle on an edge
