Ashley relocated her young family to Wenatchee, WA in October 2022 taking on the role of Skating Director to support the WFSC’s goals of growing membership, building the skating community, and increasing engaging activities for skaters of all levels.
A dedicated coach, she comes to us with 10 years of professional experience coaching skaters of all levels, ages, and abilities. Previously, she was the Assistant Director of Figure Skating Programs at the Toyota Sports Center in Los Angeles. She has coached skaters in Los Angeles, CA, in Chaska, MN and East Grand Forks, ND.
She holds a communications degree from the University of North Dakota, where she was a member of the University of North Dakota Hockey Cheerleading Team and Team ND Collegiate Synchronized Skating Team.
Ashley specializes in developing quality skating skills, Moves in the Field, Choreography and Power skating/off-ice training. She enjoys introducing the sport to beginners and helping them achieve their skating goals whether that be figure skating or hockey skating.
She is a Triple USFS Gold Medalist and National-level USFS and ISI Synchronized skating coach.
She has 12 years of competitive figure skating and dance experience, including ballet.

Alanna has been skating for twenty years. She has performed in the Wenatchee Figure Skating Club’s Christmas show every year and in Numerica’s Winter Ice Gala the last eight years as a soloist.

Alanna has been skating for twenty years. She has performed in the Wenatchee Figure Skating Club’s Christmas show every year and in Numerica’s Winter Ice Gala the last eight years as a soloist.
She has also competed in numerous international, out-of-state, and within-state competitions. Highlights of her skating career include earning a pewter (4th place) medal at the 2016 Northwest Pacific Regional Championships, which qualified her to compete at the 2016 Pacific Coast Sectional Championships in Burbank, California. Recently, she qualified to compete at the 2017 & 2018 National Solo Dance Finals in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Hyannis, Massachusetts, respectfully.
Aside from her own skating, Alanna has volunteered her time for many years as a junior coach for Learn-to-Skate classes (2005-2011). In 2011, she became a certified coach through United States Figure Skating (USFS) and the Professional Skater’s Association (PSA). Through the PSA she has earned a registered rating in Moves in the Field, Free Skating, and Group. She also holds a level 3 ranking. Highlights of her coaching career include having students qualify and attend National Showcase, the Northwest Pacific Regional Championships, the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships, and team coaching a student who has attended the National Championships.
Alanna enjoys teaching both on and off the ice and is a graduate of Central Washington University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Currently, she is working on completing her master’s degree in literacy and has taught in various grades as an elementary school teacher. She believes that all her students can have fun, make growth, and learn valuable life skills from skating that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Such skills include short & long-term goal setting, good character, and physical fitness. She also hopes to instill a determined work ethic and a love for the sport.

Cinnamon grew up in the Seattle area, where she began figure skating. She competed for 10+ years, through the senior level.
She moved to Wenatchee in 1995, with her young family and taught professionally for 11+ years.
She currently works for the Wenatchee school district, in Nutrition services, and has been there for over 13 years.

She is passionate about working with all levels and ages of skaters in both figure skating and hockey and brings energy & expertise to help develop skating skills while nurturing and growing a skaters’ self-confidence. She takes a detail-oriented approach to her training style building a strong, all-around skater with a complete set of skills, for both competitive or recreational goals.
She specializes in spin and jump technique, power skating and off-ice training. She encourages respectful and positive behavior both on and off the ice.
